Job Title:  Senior Developer

Job Overview:  This position is responsible for developing and working on the premier customer facing product for Loomis by gathering and analyzing requirements, architecting solutions, and ensuring rollouts are successful. Individuals in this role will be responsible for the proper analysis of requirements, and the successful delivery of high quality software components that full fill the business needs. The individual will be responsible for thoroughly documenting and supporting software components that are deployed and will participate and/or lead in all facets of the software life cycle. The individual will be challenged technically to deliver quality software in a timely manner. The developer should have excellent professional and communication skills and willingness to work under rapidly changing priorities. A passion of technology and high degree of aptitude will allow the developer to be successful.

The expected skill set for a senior developer must include:

• Expert-level competency in JavaScript
• Experienced working in pure JavaScript and JavaScript/UI frameworks
• React/Redux a plus
• Solid working experience in the web stack: HTML/CSS, JSON, other web technologies, ex:
• HTTP Verbs, REST APIs, AJAX, templates, Node.js
• Experienced in developing cross browser applications
• Knowledgeable writing SQL queries and solid understanding of relational databases 
• Experience with following technologies is a plus:
• ServiceStack.Net, Nancy or other server side web frameworks
• Raven DB or other document databases
• Experienced in ASP.NET, C#
• Experienced in writing Unit Tests (with qUnit, Jasmine or equivalent) and planning & executing large integration tests across multiple environments
• Solid understanding of n-tier Architecture and OOP and experience with large-scale applications
• Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
• Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Thoroughly test code and overall application

Primary Requirements:

1.      7+ years in UI development utilizing JavaScript, HTML/CSS

2.      While a UI developer, ability to understand the entire stack and demonstrate experience with C# and related .NET technologies

3.      Quality systems implementation experience

4.      Live or relocate to the Houston, Texas area

5.      Excellent oral and written communication skills

6.      Excellent influence management ability
